Hi, I’m Josie Cruz – the consultant behind Let’s Research.

Since 2011, I’ve worked across the qualitative research world as a recruiter, moderator, analyst, and project manager. My core expertise lies in fieldwork and project management – planning studies, coordinating teams, managing logistics, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

While my professional roots are firmly in operations, my career has always been driven by curiosity about people: how they think, behave, and make decisions. This curiosity, combined with practical industry experience and academic background in Social Communications and International Tourism, allows me to support agencies not only in delivery, but also in the earlier stages of projects.

In research design, I work as a collaborative partner helping to shape methodologies, refine thinking, and strengthen projects through the transferable skills developed through hands-on experience. My international background, having travelled extensively and lived in six countries across three continents, brings a culturally aware and human-centred perspective to every piece of work.

Fluent in English and Portuguese, I support qualitative projects across international markets. English is my primary working language, but I also offer Portuguese-language moderation and coordination for research involving Brazilian audiences.
